As a web designer I had the great opportunity to redesign the website of the BERLIN INSTITUTE FOR SOCIAL RESEARCH.
The old site was outdated, which led to problems with visual perception and mobile viewing. It was also difficult for users to access social media channels, which is an important aspect for modern websites. The client had clear wishes and expectations to solve these problems and make the website more user-friendly and appealing.
The new site was designed from scratch to improve the visual perception. I chose a modern and minimalist design that draws attention to the most important content on the site. A clear and consistent colour palette was used to create a pleasant user experience and make text easier to read.
Another important factor in the website redesign was optimisation for mobile devices. I optimised the site for a better mobile view to ensure that users have a pleasant experience regardless of their device.
The site is now responsive and user-friendly on all devices.
The social media integration was also improved, in order to ensure that users can easily access the BERLIN INSTITUTE FOR SOCIAL RESEARCH social media channels.
The connection between the website and the social media channels was improved so that users can access up-to-date information and activities.
Both me and my client are very happy with the result and can’t wait to cooperate again in the future.
